Cassette Tape
The "Cassette Tape" project began in 2016 as an Experiments with Google submission, where I built a browser-based freestyle recorder. At the time, the Web Audio API wasn’t fully supported, which made it an exciting technical challenge. That work eventually led to my presentation at Google I/O in Dublin.
Years later, after learning React, I decided to revisit the concept — this time focusing on visualizing lyrics rather than recording audio. The updated version features my own track, “Fork This”, and I had the chance to present it and perform the song live at Penpot Fest in Barcelona in 2023.
